Take a break and unwind for a few minutes. Play a game, talk to a friend or just pause.

Take a few deep, relaxing breaths — in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Manage stress with exercise. Even a short walk helps fight nicotine cravings.

Visualize a safe, relaxing place. Enjoy being there for a few minutes.

Mentally scan your body for tension. When you find an area that’s knotted, try stretching, exercise or rubbing your shoulders, neck and head.
