Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline testimonial

I hope you will consider quitting

I began smoking at age 13 and continued smoking for 35 years. For the last ten years I smoked 3-4 packs of cigarettes per day. In March of 2000, I had a double bypass after suffering a heart attack, and it was at that time I quit smoking. I used the patches and Wellbutrin to help me and it was very difficult, but I was successful. That was 16 years ago, and I feel so much better after quitting using tobacco products. And I feel the quality of my life has increased a lot.

If you currently smoke, I hope you will consider quitting. It is definitely very detrimental to your physical health and the physical health of those around you, whom you no doubt love very much. Good luck, and if I can be of any help to anyone wanting to quit, I would be most happy to do so.
